SHOW TIME

TWO SHOWS DOWN, THREE MORE TO GO!

I can't even describe how happy I am to be back on stage.  As a Trainee I haven't had the most to do these past few days (I'm double casted with a company member), but the little I do is enough to make me happy (and good for my footsie).  And it's not as if I haven't had some fun opportunities :D Wednesday night we had a run through for Amanda and Stefan's cast, which meant that I was only supposed to be a Market dancer. Howevahhh, Chloe (who's performing Juliet tomorrow night) had pulled her adductor in class that afternoon and was having a hard time doing her parts as a Mandolin dancer and Friend of Juliet in Act Three (the Act Three Friends are more advanced than than the Act Two Friends).  Anyway, I (along with like four other girls) was cast as an understudy for the Act Three Friends, and on Wednesday night I got to do Chloe's part! And I didn't mess it up! :) ALSO before we got into the theater I was able to get through entire classes without any pain in my foot (the hard stage floor is making it hurt a little but whatever :D).  Things seem to be looking up.  Last night I was supposed to write an entry for our blog (yeah, that's right SacBallet has a BLOG documenting the progress of Romeo and Juliet.  Check it out at sacballet.blogspot.com), but I really can't figure out what to write about.  Ohhhh well. I'll figure it out but I'm tired now.  We've been starting in the afternoon lately because our dress rehearsals and shows have been in the evening but tomorrow we have a matinee so class is at 11:00.  Ugh.  I have so much to write about, but it'll have to wait.
